The Halo Effect in the Home brings together charity representatives, experts, artists and members of the wider community for an evening focused on awareness, survivor voices and meaningful change.

THANK YOU

The event was a success

We would like to sincerely thank all the voices we heard on the evening, everyone who attended and supported such an important cause, our photographer, our singer, our sound engineer, our raffle prize donors and every single person who helped make The Halo Effect in the Home possible.

A very special thank you to our main sponsor and supporter, Kane Tuohy LLP Solicitors, whose generous partnership and continued support made this event possible.

The good news is that our online silent auction remains open — you can still browse the catalogue and place a bid until 6pm on Sunday, 12 October 2026. The winners will be notified by email. Every bid continues to support Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Saoirse Domestic Violence Services and SISI.

We heard directly from representatives of our three charity partners:

  • Shirley ScottPolicy Manager, Dublin Rape Crisis Centre
  • Zita SpringFundraising & Supporter Care Manager, Saoirse Domestic Violence Services
  • Mary-Louise LynchFounder & CEO, SISI – Survivors Informing Services and Institutions

Each organisation shared insights into its work, the support it provides to survivors and the challenges faced by those affected by domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.
