The Event

The Halo Effect in the Home is a one-evening charitable exhibition, silent auction and celebration of art, creativity and community, bringing people together to support an important cause.

The evening will also provide a platform for conversation and awareness. We will hear from representatives of Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Saoirse Domestic Violence Services and SISI – Survivors Informing Services and Institutions, who will share insights into their work, the support they provide to survivors and the challenges they encounter.

This will be followed by “Voices for Change” – an expert panel discussion, bringing together six speakers with different professional and personal perspectives to explore issues including prevention, protection, accountability, survivor voice, education and meaningful change.

The event will also showcase a carefully curated collection of original paintings, textile artworks and photography, generously donated by artists from Ireland and internationally. Each artwork has been donated in support of our three charity partners.

The exhibition creates an opportunity to discover artists, engage with their work, acquire an original piece of art and, at the same time, make a meaningful contribution to supporting survivors of domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.

Art with Purpose

Every artwork in the exhibition has been donated in support of Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Saoirse Domestic Violence Services and SISI – Survivors Informing Services and Institutions.

The proceeds from the Silent Auction will be shared between these three organisations, helping support their vital work with survivors, advocacy, education and services.

Every bid matters. Every artwork tells a story. And every purchase helps create change.
